Our mission and vision focus on care, sustainability, diversity and honest cooperation within a collaborative art practice.

Job description
As Residency Coordinator, you are responsible for the entire residency process, from open call to completion. You will create a warm, well-organized and professional environment where artists can work and grow freely, in line with Jester's mission and values.

Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing and monitoring residencies (planning, communication, logistics, content coordination).
- Managing open calls and selection procedures together with the artistic team.
- Act as the first point of contact for residents: practical, substantive and administrative guidance.
- Organizing residents' meetings, studio discussions and networking activities.
- Organizing and coordinating exhibitions, shows and public presentations together with the artistic team and artists, and managing volunteer work.
- Preparing and following up agreements, budgets and administration.
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting residency processes.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Jester's residency policy.

Who are we looking for?
- You have an affinity for contemporary art and experience in the cultural sector.
- You are empathetic, have strong communication skills and are good at dealing with various artists and partners.
- You work in a structured, accurate and independent way.
- You can switch between practical tasks, artistic support and policy thinking exercises.
- You have a strong organizational and problem solving mindset.
- You endorse Jester's core values: care, diversity, sustainability and honest cooperation.
- You have an excellent command of Dutch and English, both orally and in writing; multilingualism (e.g. French, German or other languages) is a plus considering Jester's international activities.

What do we offer?
- A meaningful role within a dynamic arts organization with an international appeal.
- A committed team and space for personal initiative.
- Professional development opportunities and contact with a broad artistic community.
- Remuneration in accordance with PC329.01 (b1c)
