Save the Date: Summer Opening at Jester

Alessandro Cugola in dialogue with Jester’s 50-year archive

Summer opening on 20 June with exhibition, open studios and three new public works

On June 20th, Jester launches its summer programme, as part of the site-wide opening day together with C-mine and LUCA School of Arts. During this evening, Jester presents a new exhibition by current resident Alessandro Cugola, opens its studios to the public, and inaugurates and activates new (semi-)permanent works in the public space.

Alessandro Cugola‍

Visual artist and architect Alessandro Cugola (IT, °1993) is currently developing a new exhibition during his residency at Jester. The work enters into dialogue with the organisation’s archive and will unfold as an installation and performative trajectory throughout the summer. Further details will be announced soon.

Open studios‍

During the opening, current residents Brigitte Louter, Sadrie Alves and Metincan Güzel open their workspaces to the public, offering insight into the processes and trajectories developed within Jester.

Public works‍

In addition, new public art installations created by Apparatus 22, Joppe Venema, and Timo Demollin will be unveiled on and around the site.

Shuttle Bus

Are you coming to Jester from Brussels? You can book a ticket for our shuttle bus here. The bus departs at 14:30 from Koning Albert II Laan 158 in Brussels, and arrives at Jester at 16:00. The return bus departs from Jester at 21:00 and arrives back in Brussels at 22:30.
